Pragmatic Play – Strategy meets style in Seotda Baccarat

PRAGMATIC PLAY LAUNCHES ALL-NEW CARD GAME SEOTDA BACCARAT

Seotda Baccarat is a first-of-its-kind card game inspired by the traditional Korean game Seotda, seamlessly blended with familiar baccarat-style wagering.
Using a distinctive 20-card Hwatu deck instead of the traditional 8-deck shoe, the game centres around classic player-versus-banker betting, where the objective is to predict which hand will achieve the highest-ranking two-card combination in a specially created ranking system.
Seotda Baccarat also boasts higher win potential than standard baccarat – up to 8:1 payout on Player and Banker bets and up to 80:1 payout with the new Bright card side bets – adding even more excitement for both new and experienced players.

Seotda Baccarat

Seotda Baccarat combines the familiarity of traditional baccarat with a distinctive Korean-inspired Seotda card game, designed to engage both new and experienced players.

Played using a 20-card Hwatu deck featuring unique artwork – two sets of 1-10, each number representing months from January to October. Three are exclusive Bright Cards, marked with ‘光’, holding the highest values.

Players bet on either the Player or Banker to predict which side will have the higher scoring hand. Each side receives only two cards, removing the third-card rule, providing a faster, simpler, and more engaging game.

Distinctive Hand Rankings:

  • Rank #1 – #3: Bright Pairs (3/8, 1/8, 1/3) three exclusive Bright Cards, marked with 光, holding the highest values, with 3/8 unbeatable.
  • Rank #4 – #13: Pairs (10/10 – 1/1) rank from highest 10/10 to lowest 1/1
  • Rank #14 – #19 Special Combinations (1/2, 1/4, 1/9, 1/10, 4/10, 4/6) range from highest 1/2 to lowest 4/6.
  • Rank #20 – #29 Points Total (9-0) based on the sum of the two cards; same as in Baccarat, if the sum of the card is 10 or more, the first digit is dropped
  • Extra Combination > Bright Pair Hunter (cuckoo 4/boar 7) beats 1/8 and 1/3 Bright Pairs; Pair Hunter (any 3/7) defeats Pairs 1-9
